Children's Programs
Three ten week sessions of Baby And Me, Toddler Time and Story Time take place from October to June. The next ten week session will be from October to December, followed by January to March and March to June sessions. Registration for the October session will take place in September. Please contact the library for more information and registration.
Baby And Me (formerly Mother Goose)
For parents and children from birth to 18 months. This program is designed to show parents fun and different ways to interact with their children. Join an Early Childhood Educator as you learn about health, nutrition and stages of development. Learn rhymes to help with every day tasks, such as diaper changing, calming songs, and games to play with your child to help them develop. Sign language will also be introduced. Space is limited, pre-registration is required. Sessions will take place Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. starting October 12th, 2011.
Toddler Time
For parents and children from 18 - 36 months. This program is designed for more active children and involves more interaction in a group setting. Join an Early Childhood Educator as you and your child take part in a variety of activities such as stories, songs, games, art and learning. Space is limited, pre-registration is required. Sessions will take place Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. starting October 14th, 2011.
Storytime
For 3 to 5 year olds. Children join an Early childhood Educator for this preschool program as they learn about the world around them and take part in stories, songs, games and art. Parents are welcome to sit in, but are free to roam the library while their child(ren) participate. Space is limited, pre-registration is required. Sessions will take place Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. starting October 12th, 2011.
