Requesting Items from Other Libraries (InterLibrary Loans)

If you find an item that's not available from your local library, request an InterLibrary Loan. Please do not request a loan on an item that was published in the last 12 months. New items will not be InterLibrary loaned.
- If you find more than one record for the title you want, choose the one with the most Locations. This number is in brackets following Locations.
- Click on the title to select the record you want. The full entry for the record will be displayed.
- Click on the golden rod coloured "Request This Item" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- A new window with an ILL request form will open up. Enter your information into the following fields:
- Patron Name: Enter your name in the order:
Last Name, First Name. - Password: Enter the last four (4) digits of your library card number.
- Library Card: Enter your library card number in full.
- Phone Number: Enter your phone number with area code.
You need to provide this so the library can contact you when the item arrives. - E-mail Address: If your library prefers to contact you this method, please enter your e-mail address. Note: Patron Name, Password and Phone Number are mandatory fields. If you do not add them the request will not be accepted.
- When you are finished, click on the Submit button.
If you choose to abandon the request close this window by clicking on the Close button or X icon in the top right hand corner.
