Dessert Club - "Fruit Crisp"

Dessert Club will take place the last Tuesday of every month. This month will be all about "Fruit Crisp". Dessert Club – April 24th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Houston Public Library. Two group members will be bringing a sample of their favorite fruit crisp. All other members please bring a copy of a recipe to share. We will also be playing Xbox Kinect Bowling. After School Game Time

After School Game Days – April 12th and April 26th from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. For children 8 to 12 years of age. Mini Wii tournament and snacks provided. Cost is $2.00 per person.

Earth Day - "Rock Painting"

Tuesday, May 8th 7:00 pm Soon after natural gas wells were drilled near the Alberta home of reverend Wiebo Ludwig and his clan, the Chrisitian community started experiencing health problems. After five years of being ignored by the oil and gas industry, Ludwig decided to fight. The story of a man’s relentless struggle against powerful industry interests. Wiebo Ludwig died Monday at the age of 70 after a battle with esophageal cancer.
